HIS STORY
Native to Albuquerque New Mexico, Jeffrey D. Drake is a self-taught artist who was adopted into the world of imagination and creativity at an early age.
Having attended the Creative Media Institute at New Mexico State University, Drake graduated with a B.A. in Digital Film and Animation. He dabbled for many years in the entertainment industry, never putting down the pencil or brush. This only confirmed his true calling for fine art, and strives to share his gifts with the world.
Since then, he has immersed himself in his work and individual form of expression. This can only be described as "painting freely". Evoking emotion, recognition, and discussion, he shares light and color with a unique & unconventional style.
His murals can be seen throughout the Albuquerque Metropolitan Area, and his works have been collected from coast to coast in the United States.
